My approaches

Person-Centred Counselling
Person-centred counselling puts you the client at the centre of the counselling process. This approach upholds that you have the knowledge and resources within you to be an agent of your own healing process.

Jungian influences
I am very inspired by Carl Jung's ideas. This includes his concept of 'archetypes' and how they correlate with various aspects of ourselves. I am also interested in his concept of the unconscious, and like to work with dreams, which are a powerful way to access the hidden parts of your psyche .

Creative Arts Counselling
I have many years experience working in the creative arts. This includes the visual arts, music, drama and dance. I believe these mediums are a powerful way to access your deeper feelings and to explore your unique creativity.

Astrology, Palmistry and Tarot
I have many years experience working with astrology, palmistry and tarot. These are effective tools to discover more about your unique self and talents. They can also support you with decision making concerning dilemmas you may be experiencing. They can be offered as part of the counselling or as separate readings.

Nature Based Counselling
I also offer counselling sessions outdoors in Glastonbury. The natural world has enormous benefits upon our wellbeing. It can also act as a valuable resource to explore our feelings in relation to the environment and environmental change.

Celebrating diversity
I have worked with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, this includes racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds, people with physcal disabilities, people who are neurodiverse and people from the LGBTQ+ community. I am fully inclusive in my approach and celebrate diversity.
